WaterMark indicates where the exchange where the installation need to be resumed.
These are registry key which gets created on the below path HKLM\Software\Microsoft\ExchangeServer\
When you open the exchange installation log file you can have similar to this: # [ID = fdfe6b1a, Wt = 1, isFatal = False]
Try to find the value in the registy fdfe6b1a and it re-direct to where the installation got stopped.
The Action key indicates the next steps that will proceed.
When you have installation completed you can see observe UnpackedVersion and ConfiguredVersion values must matches
